About this site
The purpose of this website is to help people research who called them. Sometimes we receive calls from unknown phone numbers, and want to know information about who it might be and what they might want.
Public information about telephone numbers is downloaded from multiple sources, compiled into a simple report, and shared with you.
- Caller ID name (CNAM)
- Porting status (LRN)
- Numbering plan area (NPA)
The locations are for the local calling area of the telephone number for billing purposes, not the actual caller. People can call from any location and use any fake name, so you cannot be sure what the location and name of the caller is. Everyone has the ability to post inaccurate information in the textarea, so do not trust it blindly. These are only clues for your own research and are not to be considered as authoritative fact.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. That means if there is an Amazon ad on a page, and you click the link, a cookie is put on your computer, and if you buy something within 24 hours, they pay me around 2.5% commission. If you do not click the link, nothing happens. These ads will change or be removed, since I am just trying to figure out ways to help pay the expenses for running the site.
